How long are receptions?
5 and 1/2 hours will be blocked, not to include the ceremony. Each additional half hour is $250.

Are there wedding packages?
Packages are not available, as all menus are done a la carte. The food minimum is $85 per person (plus 6% tax and 23% gratuity). The minimum includes all food associated with the menu and bar items are an additional charge.

Is there a bar minimum?
Yes, there is a 2 hour bar minimum for all wedding receptions and a 4 hour maximum. This does not include champagne and wine service with dinner.

If there is no open bar, what will be the charge?
The food minimum will increase to $100 per person (plus 6% tax and 23% gratuity).

What items are provided free of charge?
Standard white linens, chairs, china, silver, and 5 votives for reception tables.

Is there a room fee for the reception?
A room rental fee applies based on the room selected. The range is $750-$1500 plus tax.

Are upgrades available?
Yes, upgraded linens and chairs are available for an additional charge. A wide variety of requests can be accommodated.

Does the hourly open bar include wine and beer?
Yes, it includes all mixers, juices, alcohol, beer, house wine, and sodas.

Are there restrictions on Alcohol?
We have a 4 hour maximum open bar. All alcohol must be provided by The Hotel.

Does Champagne come with the hourly open bar?
No, the champagne toast is priced in addition to the hourly bar pricing.

Does Wine service with dinner come with the hourly bar Rate?
No, this is priced in addition to the hourly bar pricing.

Is there a children's menu?
Yes, the children's menu ranges between $24.95-$34.95 per child (Plus 6% tax and 23% gratuity).

Do children get charged the same amount as an adult on an hourly bar?
No, children are charged 1/2 of the hourly pricing.

Do you offer vendor meals for the DJ and photographer?
Yes, the charges range from $28.50-$45 (plus 6% tax and 23% gratuity) unless your vendor requests to eat inside the reception room.

Can I request a special meal due to a dietary restriction?
Yes, special menus can be requested.

Is a menu tasting available?
Yes, but we charge for all tastings based on the items selected. Please ask the Social Events Manager for the Tasting Standards. We also host an open house/menu tasting that will showcase signature menu items and cakes at a lower cost than an individual tasting.

Who will prepare my wedding cake?
A Hotel pastry chef will coordinate your cake design and flavors. Please note the wedding cake goes towards your food minimum of $85. Cake pricing starts at $12 per person. There is a cake fee of $2.50 per person if you choose to have a cake prepared by an outside vendor.

What is the cost to offer more than one entree?
For the choice of 2 entrees, the charge is $3 additional per person (plus 6% tax and 23% gratuity). If you offer 3 choices, the charge is $5.00 additional per person (plus 6% tax and 23% gratuity).

Do you offer transportation to local hotels?
Transportation can be arranged for The Hotel van to pick your guests up and take them back to Hershey Lodge only. This is based on availability of the Hotel shuttles. There is a fee of $100 per hour per van for this service. The shuttle is not able to transport to other local hotels.

Can I block rooms for my out of town guests?
Yes, rooms can be blocked off and provided at a group discount if you block 10 or more room at The Hotel Hershey or Hershey Lodge.

Do I get a complimentary room the night of my wedding?
A complimentary room will be provided the night of your wedding if your final guarantee for the wedding exceeds 100 people.

What is the deposit amount?
A deposit of 25% with the signed contract is required. The deposit is based off a $150 per person estimate.

Are there certain months, Days, or times of the day when the price is discounted?
Yes, weddings prior to 2 PM are discounted and the lunch minimum becomes a $50 per person.

Can I select my own catering vendor?
The Hotel Hershey must provide all food items, excluding the wedding cake and any favors. All outside items must be approved by your Hotel planner.

Are rooms available for the bride, groom, and wedding party to get ready in prior to the ceremony?
Yes, a standard banquet room can be provided. There is a fee starting at $100 for each room for a 2 hour period. If an overnight room is requested, the charge will be based on the room selected.
